I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of The Cancer Council and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Shitbox Rally NZ 2016. Let's be honest, who wouldn't want to drive a $1600 bunky car around NZ with their awesome roads?
More personally I (Peter) have lost close family to breast cancer, and numerous members enduring small skin cancers, and one day I'll have to endure the old prostate exam as well... Practically everyone we know or will meet will be touched by cancer in some way.
Shaun has been touched quite harshly as well with his grandfather having bowel cancer, as well as melanoma. He has been through a fair struggle with the family in tow. He now lives with half of his bowel removed.
Many people are also not aware that the Cancer Council is researching and managing more than just skin cancer. They have taken on the mantle for cancer overall!!
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about The Cancer Council, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
